Upcoming event: Juried Photography Contest 2008 Our first open photography competition at Tangent Lab Exhibit Opening Reception Final Friday, January 25, 2008 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Awards presentation at 9 p.m.

Join us at Tangent Lab this Final Friday for an opening reception featuring the photographs selected from our first photography competition. Nearly 200 images were submitted to the contest, and 67 were accepted into the show. Awards will be given out at 9 p.m. for photographs that won recognition in the categories of people, places, pensive and peculiar. Make plans to stop by Tangent Lab tomorrow night - we'll have great photos, pizza, brew, cookies and hot chocolate. How can you beat that?

Coming up:
Tangent Lab will be hosting a national traveling exhibit titled Hand to Hand: a coast to coast collaborative in February. The artworks featured in the show are a result of mailing work-in-progress back and forth between David Wallace of Philadelphia, PA and Rebecca Tarawick of Los Angeles, CA. We will also have local artists exhibiting collaborative works in conjunction with the show.
