Upcoming event: Hand to Hand The coast to coast collaborative collage of Rebecca Trawick and David Wallace. Exhibit Opening Reception Final Friday February 29, 2008 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Several local artists have contributed collaborative artworks to be included in the exhibit. Music provided by Forrest Whitlow starting at 8 p.m.

Hand to Hand: the coast to coast collaborative collage of Rebecca Trawick and David Wallace opens at Tangent Lab this week during the Final Friday gallery crawl. Also showing in the gallery will be the collaborative works of several local artists, including:

Adam, Sarah and Marc Bosworth
Mande Braden and Landon Taylor
Spike Hemans and Katie Hinsey
Matt Hillyard and Valerie Haring
Jaki McElroy and Patrick Fallier
Tina and Dave Murano
Dustin Parker and Katie Sykes

Kansas City musician and songwriter Forrest Whitlow will be playing acoustic guitar in the gallery from 8-10 p.m. as well. He is in town to promote his newest musical endeavors, so check out his website and myspace for more info.

Coming up
Hand to Hand will have a closing reception on Friday March 14th, from 7-10 p.m., to give you another chance at taking in the exhibit. The New Arts Collective will be taking over the gallery for a show on March 28th.
