On Final Friday, February 29, Tangent Lab will be hosting a national traveling exhibit titled: Hand to Hand: the coast to coast collaborative collage of Rebecca Trawick and David Wallace.
The artworks featured in the show are a result of mailing work-in-progress collage pieces back and forth between David Wallace of Pittsburgh, PA and Rebecca Trawick of Los Angeles, CA. Some of the works were completed after only a few exchanges while others changed hands as many as 8 times. This process continued until they agreed a work of art was complete. Each stage of the process was documented and thumbnails of the various iterations of the work will be displayed along with the art so that viewers can see how each collage evolved.
Local artists will also be exhibiting collaborative works in conjunction with the show. Don't miss this unique exhibit showing at Tangent Lab this Final Friday.
