Announcements:

Still love you, though.

Tangent Lab will not be holding the 143 II (I Love You, Too) exhibit that was being planned for the Final Friday of March. We really appreciate everyone's support and willingness to participate.

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry to announce that Tangent Lab will no longer be hosting events from the third floor of the Rock Island Market Building. We were hoping to have a final show in the month of March, but that's not going to be possible.

The last six years in residence on the 3rd floor have been fantastic, and I'm so proud of the amazing and memorable shows we've produced in the space. I'm very appreciative and thankful for the exhibiting artists, our interns, my family and friends who have worked so hard to create shows for the gallery. A special thanks to Jason Opat and IMG, who have been very generous with their help and support.

I'm also happy to say that Tangent Lab is going to continue on. The plan is to have installation shows a few times a year at different locations. We are currently planning a solo show featuring Dustin Parker later this year, at a venue to be determined.

One of the best things about Tangent Lab is that it has been off the beaten path, a destination to be found. If you have an idea for a unique venue, or would like to volunteer for future events, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks to everyone who made it up all those stairs to see the shows, and I hope to see you again soon!

Sincerely,
Brad Ruder
