Colorful, playful and eclectic - the art show Avec Créme opens this Final Friday at Tangent Lab. Like crème adds that little extra touch to coffee and soups that makes them exceptional, curator Katie Sykes believes the artists in this show have that little extra touch that makes their art unique.
The one-night-only event will feature the latest works of Charles Baughman, Chris Gulick, Dustin Parker, Stacy Rink, Ian Stewart and Katie Sykes. Torin Andersen is going to be in control of the music for the show and there will be cookie treats from the Sugar Sisters Bakery. Special guest artist Andy Cendrowski is donating any proceeds from his artwork to Kansas K-9 ResQ. Make plans to be at the show and don't miss the 10 @ 10 gallery talk later in the evening.
Coming in April:
Opening Final Friday April 27 is The Dark Scientists, an exhibit featuring music, video and paint from Arran Lowe and Dustin Parker. We're going to stay open til midnight just to fit in all the visual and auditory offerings.
